The difference between these products.
PHOTATCHES (photo patches)
Photatches are dye sublimated onto PVC fabric and heat pressed to ensure high durability.
Photatches require no setup; they can be made from any file type (ex, JEPEG, PNG, AI, ETC). Photatches can include complex effects, such as glowing, gradients, incredibly fine detail, transparencies, etc. Photatches have no color limit and can be made with any color. |
VINYL PATCHES
Vinyl patches are cut out of high quality vinyl (flattened PVC) material and heat pressed onto fabric. If a patch has multiple colors, different layers of vinyl are cut out and layered on top of each other.
Vinyl has to be converted into a vector file type (EX: .AI, .EPS, ETC) Vinyl has to be made with solid colors only. Some fine details are not possible with vinyl. Vinyl is limited to in stock color choices and upto 4 colors. Vinyl can be made with specialty vinyls with awesome effects. Such as reflective gold/silver vinyl, Carbon Fiber vinyl, and more. |
